I got the following message from Louise L. Hay today:
Don’t
swallow your anger and have it settle in your body. When you get upset, give
yourself a physical release. There are several methods you can use to release
these feelings in positive ways. You can scream in the car with the windows
closed. You can beat your bed or kick pillows. You can make noise and say all
the things you want to say. You can scream into a pillow. You can run around a
track, or play a game like tennis to release the energy. Beat the bed or kick
pillows at least once a week, whether you feel angry or not . . . just to
release those physical tensions you store in your body.
Universal timing, to say the least! I had a dream a the night before last, where I was seriously mad at my ex-husband. I realized that there is still a lot of un-released anger that I am holding on to. This blocks the good pouring into my life. I MUST forgive, right now, once and for all.
When my son leaves the house, I will do some pillow kicking and screaming. I will do this every day for a week.
I am also going to do some tapping. I just decided to join the World Tapping Summit. I have tried EFT before but am not entirely convinced of it. However, I am willing to try all techniques that potentially help me to let go of the anger and resentment and finally forgive to my ex. So that both of us can move on.
