My meditation today: 30 minutes (7:20 am). Evening: 30 minutes
Yoga: 30 minutes
Yesterday I missed my evening meditation as my son had a doctor´s appointment at 6 pm and I accompanied him. We came home after 8 pm and it was too late to meditate so I did not.
This morning´s meditation was okay even though I was quite anxious due to my son´s bad night. He did not get much sleep as he could not take his usual medication, due to a blood test that needs to be taken on Wednesday. The doctor prescribed mild sleeping pills to help him sleep in the meantime but they did apparently not suit to my son and made him feel bad.
After the meditation I stayed in bed and managed to get into a very relaxing state. It was much needed! It is wonderful to know that whatever happens around you, you can always access the inner silence within you. It only takes a little practice.
I find myself calmer, all in all. The worry about the future (particularly the work-part) is still there but it is as if it is not quite so intense anymore. It is as if I can deal with it.
I have been listening to Brother David´s video on gratefulness. His idea of each moment as a gift is wonderful. I went to his website and lit a virtual candle for my son, for him to have some peace and rest. It was a very comforting ritual. So much so that I decided to share it with my wasband. I sent him a link to the candle because this was possible in that wonderful website.
Yesterday I managed to convince my friend to forgive his ex-wife after a terrible row they had a couple of days ago. I asked him to give her a hug and to apologize. To my wonder he did! And he felt so good about it afterwards. I felt like I had done something really good and that this is what I would like to dedicate the rest of my life to: to encourage people to forgive. Forgiving is such a healing and deliberating experience.
Let the forgiveness overflow into a blessing over you
This is what Brother David just said.
When I checked the facebook, I found this message from Abraham via Esther Hicks:
When you are in alignment with who-you-really-are, you cannot help but uplift those with whom you come into contact. Your value to those around you hinges upon only one thing: your personal alignment with Source. And the only thing you have to give to another is an example of that alignment—which they may observe, then desire, and then work to achieve—but you cannot give it to them. Everyone is responsible for the thoughts they think and the things that they choose as their objects of attention.
It was the very thing I needed to hear! I can help my son not by worrying but being aligned with who I really am! Because who I really am is who he really is. The source! So as much as I can, I will guide my thoughts right now into making me feel aligned with the Source.
I am dedicating this day to the finding the alignment.
